I am an experience researcher and designer passionate about identifying critical problems to solve, conducting research in service of better user experiences, and creating solutions at the intersection of disciplines.
My educational background started in biomedical engineering where I worked on stroke rehabilitation technologies and CT scanners. In graduate school, I transitioned into interactive system and media design at the School of Arts, Media and Engineering at Arizona State University where I received my PhD in Media Arts and Sciences. My graduate work focused on mixed reality system design for stroke rehabilitation.
